Les Entreprises d'insertion Godefroy Laviolette inc. was incorporated January 23, 1998 under Part III of the Companies Act. The company began operations in March 1983 under the direction of La Fondation Godefroy Laviolette, in order to provide people (youth and adults) with social difficulties, a learning environment suitable to meet their specific needs .

Since its inception, the company has completed various projects in preparation for employment (Bon emploi, PDE, Point de départ, Extra. PAIE et PAIC dans le cadre CIT) in collaboration with government agencies. This collaboration has enabled the organization to develop expertise in the development and maintenance activities related to employability.

Today, Les Entreprises d’Insertion Godefroy-Laviolette administers three templates in the Lower Laurentians region.
